1. The app

Hindu Calendar Panchang 2026 is a digital Vedic almanac. It may show daily Panchang (Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Vara), a Hindu calendar for 2026, Choghadiya, Shubh Muhurat, Rahu Kaal, Gulika, Yamaganda, Hora, sunrise and moon timings, vrat and festival lists, alerts, and religious reading such as vrat katha and aarti.

The app is currently free and ad-supported. Features, languages (including Hindi and Gujarati), regions and layouts may change in updates.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial religious and informational use, in line with Google Play and App Store rules.

You may not:

• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works of the app, except where applicable law expressly allows it;
• rent, sell, sublicense or publicly redistribute the app or its data feeds;
• remove copyright, trademark or proprietary notices;
• use the app to build a competing panchang service by scraping or bulk-extracting its data;
• interfere with ads, security, store licensing or other users.

3. Panchang is informational — not professional advice

Please read this section carefully.

Panchang, muhurat, choghadiya, rahu kaal, festival dates and katha are provided for personal cultural, religious and educational information. They are not:

• a substitute for your family priest, acharya or qualified jyotishi;
• legal, medical, financial or professional advice;
• a guarantee that a date or hour is auspicious for marriage, griha pravesh, mundan, travel, purchase or any other samskara or transaction;
• an official government calendar or gazette notification.

Hindu calendar traditions differ by region (North / South India, Gujarati, Purnimanta / Amanta months, local sunrise, and different panchang authorities). A timing that is correct for one city or sampradaya may not match another. User reviews and lived practice may disagree with a given calculation. For marriage, property, medical or other high-stakes decisions, confirm independently with a trusted pandit and any required civil authorities.

Sunrise-based values depend on the location you allow or select. If location is wrong, denied, or the device clock is wrong, Tithi and related fields can be wrong.

4. Accuracy and availability

We aim for careful astronomical and traditional calculations, but we do not warrant that any Tithi, festival date, muhurat, notification or katha is complete, uninterrupted or error-free. The app may be offline, delayed, or updated. Festival alerts can fail if notifications are disabled, the device is in low-power mode, or the OS blocks background work.

Offline mode covers packaged calendar and vrat lists; it does not promise every module without a network.

5. Ads, stores and third-party services

The app contains advertisements. Ad content is provided by third parties (such as Google AdMob). We do not endorse advertised products. Do not click ads in a way that violates store or ads policies (invalid traffic).

Downloads, payments (if any later in-app products are added), refunds and store ratings are governed by Google Play or Apple terms, not by a separate billing relationship with us, unless we say otherwise in writing.

Links to YouTube aarti, websites or other apps are provided for convenience. Those properties have their own terms.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the Services in accordance with Indian law and the law of the country where you use the app. You are responsible for:

• permissions you grant (location, notifications);
• keeping the OS and app updated;
• decisions you take using panchang information;
• not using the app in a way that is abusive, illegal, or harmful to others’ religious sentiments beyond fair comment.

The Services are not offered where prohibited. You must be old enough to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction (or use the app with a parent or guardian where required). The Play Store listing is rated Everyone; that is a content rating, not permission to ignore age rules for contracts.

7. Intellectual property

The app name, logo, UI, selection and arrangement of panchang presentation, original text, graphics and software are owned by us or our licensors. Traditional panchang elements (names of tithi, nakshatra, festivals) are cultural vocabulary; our compilation, design and code remain protected.

Katha, aarti and scriptural passages may be traditional or public-domain texts presented for devotion. If you believe content infringes your copyright, email initiodevelopers@gmail.com with the URL or screenshot, your contact details, and a good-faith statement. We will review and, where appropriate, remove or replace the material.

8. Website

This Blogger site is for product information and legal pages. Do not attempt to break, scrape excessively, or post malware. User comments, if enabled, must be lawful and respectful; we may delete comments without notice.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PANCHANG IS SUITABLE FOR ANY CEREMONY OR THAT ADS OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ARE ACCURATE OR SAFE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFIT, DATA, GOODWILL, CEREMONY COST, TRAVEL COST OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE SERVICES OR RELIANCE ON ANY MUHURAT, TITHI, ALERT OR KATHA.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH IS ZERO IF THE APP WAS FREE) OR INR 1,000, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED (FOR EXAMPLE, proven fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limit is forbidden).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on the app for a decision we told you to confirm independently.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app, change features, or restrict access if you breach these Terms, if a store requires it, or if we discontinue the product. Sections that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) remain in effect.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your country, courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Before filing a claim, please email us and allow 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue using the app after an update, you accept the new Terms. If you do not, uninstall the app.
